kapow was hired by Washington, D.C. PBS affiliate WETA to design and develop the website for The Tenth Inning, a film by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick that extends the filmmakers' 1994 documentary, Baseball, one of the most-watched shows in public television history.

A smaller "preview" site was launched on PBS.org four months before the broadcast of the documentary to help raise awareness and build excitement about the show. As directors Ken and Lynn travelled to ballparks around the country during the 2010 season, the website's On the Road feature followed them, promoting future stops and offering photos and press from each visit. The preview site also included downloadable widgets, an application that gathered stories about baseball from site users, a press feed, and links to the documentary's Twitter feed, Foursquare and Facebook pages.

The final website presents in-depth information about the history and people highlighted in the documentary. It provide essays on the baseball strike, the steroid scandal, and the internationalization of baseball, as well as interview clips with Pedro Martinez, Keith Olbermann, George Will, Chris Rock and many other baseball players, commentators and fans.
